Our History
Excellent Choice Physical Therapy, PC (formerly known as Excellence Physical Therapy, PC since 1991) was started in January 2002 by founders Lino Chuang and his wife Josephine Uy-Chuang. The first clinic to open was in Woodside, Queens and later on found it's permanent home in a newly built 4-story building facing the Manhattan skyline in Sunnyside, Queens. A second clinic came soon after with it's grand opening on April 2nd of 2002 in Huntington Station of Suffolk County. The practices have been established in accordance with their philosophy that each patient must be approached in a comprehensive and compassionate way. That the use of high technology equipment for treatment and highly skilled/trained staff must be paired with patient education concerning prevention of injury and maintenance of physical health.
Excellent Choice Physical Therapy, PC is a proud member of the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Network for almost 10 years. Excellent Choice Physical Therapy, PC in its pursuit of Quality Patient Care, has adopted the standards of practice for Physical Therapy Services and standards of practice for Physical Therapists as adopted by the Board of Directors of the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Professional Organization of Physical Therapists.
